About Mrs. Wright

I was born in Salt Lake City Utah, and  I am the second of eight children. I initially earned a bachelors degree from Brigham Young University in Child Development and Family Relations. Although my husband and I both went to the same high school in Salt Lake City, we did not know each other until a few years after we had both graduated. After were married, we moved to Berkeley, California where my husband earned a PhD in Near Eastern languages.

My childhood dream was to become a teacher.  So when by kids were in school,  I went back to school and earned a certificate in elementary education. Then after we moved to Massachusetts, I went back to school again and earned a master's degree in special education from Fitchburg State College.

My husband and I have four amazing grown children, and all of them have graduated from college. One has a master's degree and another has a clinical doctorate degree. Our family has lived in Utah, Israel, Vermont, and Massachusetts. Since we have lived away from our extended families, we are very close.

I have been a special Needs teacher at  Westford Academy for the past fourteen years. I teach Study Skills classes and a small group English class. I love working at Westford Academy. We have the greatest staff, and the students are fantastic!

I love reading, traveling, taking pictures, biking and swimming.
